10. Turkey, Iran, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Syria, Tunisia, Libya, Lebanon, Palestine, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Iraq viticulture vine varieties - "Matrix" viticulture.

These nations can boast significant viticulture, i.e., Turkey (460,000 ha), Iran (280,000 ha) and Egypt (65,000 ha) or with deep-rooted in tradition, such as Algeria (50,000 ha), Morocco (50,000 ha), Syria (60,000 ha), Tunisia (30,000 ha) and others we consider marginal: Libya, Lebanon, Palestine, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Iraq. These are countries where Islamic culture is prevalent or dominant, and production is intended for table grapes of dried grapes.
