It is useful to note that the “grape” product is often destined for one or more outlined compartments and the production from the same vineyard may be destined to more uses, i.e. table, dried, juice or wine depending on the demand.

Authors’ note: also, in this chapter, the statistical basis generally dates from over five years ago, and no State, except all the America, make medium and long-term projections, supplying essential data for operators to identify market trends.
